Connect Zoom once. Follow the meeting in both languages.

Each host connects their own Zoom account. Voxtiva then uses Zoom's audio-only Real-Time Media Streams for meetings that host starts in Voxtiva. It does not join as a participant.

Connect your Zoom account

  1. Sign in to Voxtiva and open Start a session.
  2. Select Zoom, then choose Connect Zoom.
  3. Review Zoom's requested permissions and approve the connection.
  4. Return to Voxtiva. The page will show the connected Zoom account.

Voxtiva stores the access and refresh tokens encrypted. One Zoom account cannot be attached to more than one Voxtiva account at a time.

Start native Zoom capture

  1. Start or schedule a meeting from the connected Zoom account.
  2. Paste its invitation link into Voxtiva.
  3. Select Native Zoom capture and choose the two meeting languages.
  4. Start the Voxtiva session, then begin the Zoom meeting as its host.

Voxtiva requests audio-only RTMS. Zoom's own transcript is not used. The companion panel shows what was said, and the translation, as speech is processed.

Disconnect or remove Voxtiva

In Voxtiva, open Start a session, select Zoom, and choose Disconnect. You can also remove Voxtiva from the Zoom App Marketplace.

Disconnecting revokes the Zoom authorisation and deletes Voxtiva's stored Zoom credentials. It does not delete existing meeting records; hosts can delete those from the dashboard.

Troubleshooting

  • Connect Zoom is unavailable: refresh your Voxtiva sign-in and try again.
  • The meeting does not start: confirm the invitation belongs to the connected Zoom account and that you are the host.
  • Native capture is unavailable: reconnect Zoom to approve the current permissions, then confirm realtime meeting content sharing is enabled in Zoom.
  • No transcript appears: confirm Zoom shows RTMS as active and that someone is speaking after capture begins.
