Set up Voxtiva

Get the app

1. Go to voxtiva.com/download and click Create free account. Already have one? Click Sign in.
2. On the next page, press the download button, open the file, and drag Voxtiva to Applications.

Sign in

1. Open Voxtiva and click Sign in.
2. Your browser opens. Check that it shows the same code as the app, then click Connect.
3. The page says Voxtiva is connected and takes you back to the app.

Allow the microphone

1. On the card Allow microphone access, click Allow microphone.
2. When your computer asks, click Allow.

Voxtiva hears you only after you press Start.

Let Voxtiva hear the meeting

Voxtiva also needs the sound of the call, so it can hear the other side.

1. The first time you click Start transcript, your computer asks to let Voxtiva hear the meeting sound. Allow it.

The other cards are optional

• Let Voxtiva notice meetings in Chrome: see Chrome extension.
• Let Voxtiva notice Teams and Zoom meetings: see Zoom.
• Open Voxtiva when this computer starts

1. Click Not now to skip any of them.
2. On the last card, click Done.

To change them later, click the Voxtiva icon in the menu bar, then Settings.
