Chrome extension

It notices meetings in Chrome and offers to translate them. It is optional.

Add it to Chrome

  1. Get the Voxtiva app, open it and sign in.
  2. In Voxtiva, click Add to Chrome. The Chrome Web Store opens on Voxtiva Meeting Companion. Add it to Chrome.
  3. Open a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom meeting in Chrome. Voxtiva offers to translate it.

If the extension says “Not connected to Voxtiva”

  1. Open the Voxtiva app. If it is already open, quit it and open it again.
  2. Still not connected? Reinstall the Voxtiva app.

Stop the offers to translate

  1. In Voxtiva, open Settings and turn off Offer to start a transcript when a meeting begins.

Remove the extension

  1. In Chrome, open the menu (⋮) and choose Extensions › Manage Extensions.
  2. Find Voxtiva Meeting Companion and click Remove.

The Voxtiva app stays on your computer.
